I'm very fond of saving rose petals and other cut flower petals after a bouquet has bitten the dust. The one I'm gathering now also has a few dried gardenia blossoms, and some rose hips that I saved. I just spread them on a cookie sheet and keep them in a warm, dry environment until all moisture is gone.

When I've collected 3 or 4 cups of dried petals I'll seal them in a plastic quart-size bag and send them to my granddaughter to remind her of "summer at Grandma's house"!
