» cvanderlinden - Seed Starting: mishaps and milestones

In response to Seed Starting: mishaps and milestones posted by AngEngland:
My biggest problem has been lack of space...I start way too many seeds than I actually have space under light for! In previous years, this mean that I had flats and pots sitting on top of the tank we keep our pet turtle in...because he has a full spectum light over his tank! Thankfully, this year we built a bigger set-up, so I shouldn't have that problem.

I'm starting several annuals, including gomphrena, cockscomb, 'Mahogany Midget' coreopsis, silene, and African daisy inside, plus my tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant. I got some heirloom 'Cherokee Purple' tomato seeds in a trade, and I can't wait to try them!
