2008 is going to be the year of small-space gardening for me. My winter move to a condo-like living arrangment in a zone 7 area means a lot of early spring / autumn / winter container gardening. So anything new I try needs to be small / a good container plant / something I can share in communal garden space.

Summer work means maintaining my New England garden and downsizing some maintenance-heavy (maintenance nightmare) areas.

A lot of gardening choices await me in 2008 happy

I can imagine that it will be difficult to scale back your garden size - I too am focusing more on container planting right now since we still need to put the privacy fence up around the backyard and the picket fencing in the front yard. Once we have the backdrop in place I can focus on larger beds and borders.
